ACCOMPLISHMENTS, A SUCCESS STORY--

To date, 187 dogs and cats have been altered with TOBY FUND support. In December, 1999, Kathy Oxendine, a Wolf Creek resident, found an abandoned, starving, dirty, frightened black and white kitten on the steps of the general store. As she cradled the kitten in her hands, she vowed to take action to prevent such animal suffering. She named the kitten Toby, and led the community to establish THE TOBY FUND the following year. Starting as an informal community effort, and incorporated in January, 2006, the organization has been widely recognized in Southern Oregon. Toby flourishes in her loving, Wolf Creek home;and a community of fewer than 1,000 people has becomeTOBY'S TEAM, working together to ensure that all Tobies have loving homes.
