The Toby Fund of Wolf Creek Oregon, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 public charity. Starting as an informal community effort in 2000, our non-profit has grown and flourished. We are known for our model rural town spay/neuter program. To date, we have helped to alter many dogs and cats in the small rural towns of Wolf Creek and Sunny Valley. We publish a wonderful, educational news journal, THE TOBY TRIBUNE, which highlights our accomplishments, including praising local animal heroes who help animals.

A beautiful, rescued cat, Toby Oxendine (1998-2007) remains the inspiration of our efforts. She reminds us that each animal is a precious, sentient being. She reminds us of our mission. The Toby Fund of Wolf Creek Oregon, Inc. is dedicated to protecting animal life in the Wolf Creek/Sunny Valley area. We do this through education and action. Our long-term goal is to mentor other Oregon rural communities in the evolutionary process of creating and sustaining cultures of compassion toward animals.

Our efforts have resulted in raising the consciousness of our communities, thus improving and saving the lives of many animals. We are now recognized in Southern Oregon as an effective organization, and we receive moral and financial support both from within and outside our community. We have now moved into the mentorship phase of our development, an exciting path…for the animals.
